Historical Notes:
Sold new to Eris Tondelli (Italian Chevron dealer), raced by him in 1300cc format with class wins at Monza and Imola 1000ks (1974), believed to be the car that came second in the 1975 Targa Florio. It was then sold onto Veninatta Racing, who raced it until badly damaging it, the wreckage was then sold to a Greece hill climber who never rebuilt it. Robin Smith (One time owner of CHEVRON HERITAGE Ltd.) bought the wreck in the 80's and rebuilt the tub.

In 1991 Steve Farthing bought the tub and parts to make a rolling chassis and completed the restoration with a Cosworth 2lt big valve BDG. He has raced it in the RJB Mining Championship with class wins and lap records. It was then in Trackday use until 2006, when Steve came out of retirment for the second time to use it at the Le Mans Classic and in The Masters Racing Series.

In 2013 noted Chevron racer Andrew Schryver became the new owner of B26-74-04.
